Pets with any illness or emergencies that arise
after hours or on the weekends should seek assistance
from the Emergency Veterinary Clinic, on Route
17, at 757-874-8115. Their website is http://www.
peninsulavets.com/emergencies. The EVC is open nightly, Saturday,
Sunday and Holidays.
Our hospital is fully staffed on Saturday morning for a variety of non-doctor related services. These services include nail trims, boarding drop-offs and pick-ups, food purchases, bathing, product and prescription dispensing. Please note, prescriptions must be called in Monday thru Friday. Qualified Veterinary Technicians will be available for health care follow-ups, such as blood tests and bandage changes scheduled by the doctor, for Saturday morning.
We offer drop-off services if you can not make a scheduled
appointment due to your work schedule. For a small day
care fee, you can drop your pet off in the morning for
their health care needs, they will see the doctor, and
be exercised and cared for until you pick them up later
that day.
